Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts Le-Roi discovered his passion
for music at the early age 7. Through his childhood years, his talents
matured as he sang in school choirs and competitions. Compelled by the
sounds of groups such as Boyz II Men and Dru Hill, Leroi later formed his
own group with several high school friends which eventually included
friend and fellow artist Makio. Those years of experience writing,
performing and producing songs soon landed him an opportunity to join
with Surefire Music Group as a ghost writer, lead writer and vocalist.
Today, Leroi writes, produces, and arranges music for artists through out
New England and the East coast.
His music has been heard from New York to LA, and as far east as
Germany. Leroi’s lyrics are punctuated by real life concepts and an
honesty rarely heard from writers of his age. His thick vocal undertones
and undeniably edgy voice is already setting trends for other singers and
his vocal arrangements and harmonies have been recognized as
something that will kindle the next evolution of the record industry as we
know it.
Le-Roi continues to perform at clubs, colleges and venues weekly in Mass.,
Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York. He is currently working hard with
SureFire on his solo debut, as well as contributing to projects for local and
national artists.
